To put it bluntly, consoles have not been very kind to the strategy genre. In fact, more than a healthy chunk of them have been rushed ports of PC titles with frustrating control schemes, unimpressive graphics, and a distinct lack of the charm that has catapulted the genre to such success on the PC. However, there are a few gems that have actually utilized the strengths of consoles to be fun and exciting experiences.
